Struggle To Shape Your Eyebrows At Home?

Thin, thick, flat, arched, the shape and size of your eyebrows can completely transform the way you look. Well-shaped eyebrows can not only define your eyes but can frame your entire face.

If you’re unsure about where to start or confused as to which brow shape is right for you then this blog is perfect for you.

In the next few minutes, I’m going to let you in on trade secrets and show you how the pro’s perfectly shape their client’s brows to beautiful effect.

Let’s get started!

What’s Your Face Shape?

Firstly, we need to determine your face shape. Using the chart below, identify which face shape you have and therefore, which brow shape would suit you most. Once you’ve determined the best brow shape for you, keep it in mind for when you’re drawing your brows.

The Tools You’ll Need:

  • Thread
  • Sharp Eyebrow pencil
  • Spoolie brush

Eyebrow Mapping

Now for the fun bit, drawing the brow. Watch video tutorial HERE or follow the steps below.

Firstly

Run the pencil over the thread, so the crayon gets deposited on the thread.

Step 1

FIND THE START OF YOUR BROW.

Hold the thread vertically from the corner of your inner eye and make a mark on your brow area. This will be the natural start of your brow.

Step 2

FIND THE ARCH POINT.

Hold the thread from the middle of your upper lip, and up through the right side of your iris (the middle black spot in your eye). Make a mark on your brow. This will be the location of your arch

Step 3

FIND THE END OF THE TAIL.

Hold the thread from the middle of your upper lip, and up through the corner of your outer eye. Make a mark on your brow.

Step 4

Using your brow bone as a guide, gently glide the pencil along your brow bone, drawing it down towards the tail. This marks the top of your tail.

Step 6

Using a sharp pencil softly draw hair strokes in an upward motion from the bottom, and in a downward motion from the top of the brow pointing to the tail. This gives a more natural look over a filled-in block colour. Once the brows are filled with hair strokes, use a spoolie brush to soften the hard edges.

NOW IS THE TIME TO PLUCK YOUR EYEBROWS WHEN YOU HAVE THE DESIRED SHAPE FILLED IN.

STRAPPED FOR TIME?

If you don’t have time to do this every day, then Microblading could be the solution!

I use this same technique with a bit more precision to implant semi- permanent hair strokes into your brow for long-lasting natural results. With Microbladed eyebrows, you can wake up and go. No more drawing on your brows, so much time can be saved each morning. But more than that, waking up with fuller, thicker brows make you look fresh, youthful and gives you confidence.
